About Us
Radio SFI and Solid Gold Freeway are divisions of Gemini Radio Group. Our
studios and offices are located in Taylorville Illinois. High School friends Jim Ringo and
Reggie South are the owners. Jim and Reggie have a combined 50 years experience in the
entertainment business.

Jim has an extensive
background in broadcasting. He has worked as an "on air" personality in Springfield,
Illinois, Wichita, Kansas and Rome, Georgia. He was the Production Director at a station in
Wichita and was responsible for all commercial and promotional announcments aired on the
station. In the early 70's Jim also had a popular TV show in Decatur, Illinois. Jim has
also been an SFI Affiliate for over 20 years.

Reggie has
extensive experience as a music promoter and booking agent in Southern California and has
worked with many popular recording stars such as The 5th Dimension, Jose Feliciano, Pat
Boone, Dwight Yoakam and many others. He has also been an "on air" personality on radio
stations throughout Illinois. Reggie is also the owner of A A DJ Productions, a DJ service with clients throughout the
midwest.

Missi Sullivan has been
a popular DJ on stations in Springfield, Illinois, Moline, Illinois, Davenport, Iowa, and
Las Vegas, Nevada. She is currently our production manager and is responsible for all
comercial production.

D.J. Blast "The Oldies
Time Traveler" has been a D.J on radio in Northern and Southern California. He was also
the premiere MC & D.J. for "Desert Storm" & Desert Shield" and recently helped put
together "Route 66 Radio" where he served as program director and was praised for his
efforts and unique programming style. He is now the Music Director here at Solid Gold
Freeway.
